The Sunflower Square at the entrance of Sanchong Sport Center is friendly. In the middle of parapet made by pink tile brick, Sanchong local artists’ terra-cotta bricks are bordered to add a cultural atmosphere for the playground. The ramp used to replace ladders, creates a barrier-free accessible recreation space, where has already become the most important recreational sport facility for the people of Sanchong District.

The Comprehensive Gymnasium (Arena) stands in the interaction of Chongxin Road, Zhongzheng N. Road and Zhongshan Road; its lily white walls inlaid with navy blue glass curtain, and interior space is carefully planned and designed for three major venues according to the nature of use. The first floor is an open indoor gymnasium, the 2nd to the 5th floors is the large auditorium, and the 6th to the 7th floors are ball games stadium. The fully equipped and multi-functional arena leads Sanchong culture into a new milestone.

The Social Education Hall, located in the Rose Park, is a three-story building of multi-functional exhibition venue, with geometrical look. It combines the Arena, so that all arts activities of Sanchong, such as opera, dance, music and exhibition are performed here to create broader art space for Sanchong.

To promote the national sport and to strengthen national health fitness, New Taipei City government proposes the "Improving the Nationals Sport Environment and Creating the Sport Island Plan," namely, rebuild original old Sanchong Zhongxing Swimming Pool into the "Nationals Sport Center", a diversified Recreational sport place.

The Nationals Sport Center near the MART station, with convenient transportation, in which there are Heated Pool, Fitness Center, Aerobics Classroom, Basketball Court, Badminton Court, Table Tennis Room, Play Area, Community Classrooms, and Conference Room, as a multi-functional space to provide the people of Sanchong and adjacent areas, leisure and sports and fitness.

TNew Taipei City promotes the first "Youth Social Housing" BOT case in Taiwan, among which, at Lane 161, Datong S. Road, near Sanguang Elementary School, the cross of Zhengyi S. Road and Lane 172 of Datong S. Road of Sanchong District, two "Youth Social Housings" are built, in addition to providing economically disadvantaged youth of 20 to 40 years old to rent, and the social welfare space such as the public childcare center and activity center, a total area of 1,800 M2 are provided to benefit community residents; it will be officially opened and resided in 2016 to implement the concept of "living justice" and "quality of living", creating new diverse directions of social housing.

The development of Re-planning District and Chongyang Re-planning District at both sides of Erchong Floodway will make Sanchong become an important and excellent development district. Park Landscaped Square, Comprehensive Gymnasium, Sport Center, and Nationals Sport Center constructing complete sport and leisure places in Sanchong, would allow Sanchong completely to transform, and then soar, to bring the people of Sanchong a sense of belonging and a sense of superiority, and become the best and most modernized city.
